Hey, thanks guys! It'd mean a lot to me! Even if the demo consists of getting lost and wondering for an hour long I'd like to see it, I really want to see the map through the eyes of another player.

This is an amazing map Thanks for the PM.
I remember playing an earlier version, so fortunately some of the traps were already known to me ( including the Cyber near the Red keycard ). But then I realized you added quite a TON of new areas and ground to cover !
Visually-speaking, the map ventures into a large array of different textures themes, but overall you managed to stay consistent and solid. Detailing is advanced, I've got nothing to complain about in this area - except a few misaligned support textures here and there, I showed them in my FDA. There's also a midbar texture whose sides aren't at the same vertical offset, I believe it's near one of the BFG9000s ( thing 862 ). Other than that, you have put a lot of effort into aligning STARTAN variants, that's really cool. Nice 3D bridges, too.
Gameplay-wise, the map is veeeery tough ( even with the many Supercharges available ). Revenants are the kings here. I got lost at some point, and eventually opened the way by picking up a Supercharge ( thing 425 ). As you can see from my demo, if a player is already at full health he won't go for the sphere and thus he will get stuck. I suggest you give line actions to linedefs 10411, 10412 etc. as well, so that the player would still be able to open up the way without picking up the sphere.
The Red keycard trap is insanely hard, man. :p I suggest replacing the armor ( thing 1147 ) by a Megaarmor, or do some tweaking for Easy and Medium skill levels at least. This part is very hard.
Great Spider Mastermind placement. There are 2 or 3 of these things in your map, and each and every one of them is able to deal some serious punishment while not provoking mass infighting within the first 5 seconds of its existence ( something we see way too much in many other maps ).
Some traps caught me off guard near the end, in areas I haven't seen before ^^ Overall I had a blast playing this At the end I was really afraid of dying and almost messed up during one of the fights.
I managed to kill all the monsters ( so a 100% Kills is definitely doable ) but couldn't find more than 3 secrets. I trust you on that point though, they can surely be obtainable.
Regarding music, this is cool but maybe the fade-out part should be skipped so that the midi would loop better ?

This I can do :p Well Christian said that it could be done at the very end, as he said that additional resources might be added later on.

I had a big break from Doom forums and mapping in favor of trying to get my real life together, so I'm really sorry about the delay.
Thanks a lot for the demo and for the review man, very good and helpful stuff in here. I also noticed a retarded mistake I made with one of the elevators not working when you lower the lift.... regarding that soulsphere that you had to walk over to lower a wall I guess I'll fix that as well seeing as I got multiple complaints haha.
I'll take your advice regarding replacing thing 1147, seeing as I was on the edge of my seat saying "noooooo please don't die" (I'm sure that was a very tense moment for you as well hahahaha)
The music track will be altered to be longer and superior and longer than the original, I'm hoping the author does some stuff with the ending as well.

What an epic fight ! Glad to know you'll be tweaking it a bit ( for lesser skill levels at least ), as it will scare away many less seasoned players.

Oh, il a l'air super classe ce wad! J'attendrais la version complète pour sûr ! En mode normal peut être vu qu'il y a une ambiance recherchée apparemment. J'aime bien, ça fait très evil/dark ! ^^

Darkreaver a annoncé que Revelation of Doom sortira bien un jour. Il ne sera pas sous un format d'un megawad de 32 maps, mais d'une compilation de maps qu'il estime "sauvable". Il pense que RoD comportera au final 18 maps.
C'est une bonne nouvelle. Et ça rappelle curieusement la décision que nous avons prise pour NT. Reste à savoir lequel des wads va sortir en premier
RoD et NT sont quand même assez similaire, ça apporte un peut de compétition

Non la seule dernière information qu'on a eu est que Darkreaver compte sortir ses maps, il y en aurait plus ou moins 17 maps.
